South Tyneside started briskly and took the 1st quarter 27-17 . North Shields Tropics took the 2nd to go into half time only 42-36 down ,
The 3rd was almost even so South took a 5 point lead into the 4th . They extended this to 10 points with 3 minutes to go . Tropics then
hit 10 unanswered points to level at 73 -73 with 1 minute left . South hit a 2 ,but Tropics missed their reply (with the ball in the air for a shot when time expired ).
